Nicknamed “Hurricane” (yes, after the boxer), Carter is just under 5 months old as of this writing (early December, 2008). We think he’s going to be a good-sized boy when he’s fully grown, as he’s over twice as large as a couple of 4 month old females we have.
Carter came to us with a nursing Mom and her litter, but he was so much larger than the other kittens in the litter that we think a mistake must have been made somewhere along the line. We had to remove Carter from his littermates, as he was so much bigger than they were and was playing too rough with them.
This is a handsome boy. He has medium-length fur that’s black, but with silver undertones. Very cute ear tufts, too! Carter has LOTS of energy. He seems to be able to play forever, with only brief, occasional rest periods, and he plays very hard; he can nip as well as scratch. Because of this, he should go to a home without young children. We think it would be a good idea for Carter to go to a home with at least one another feline who really enjoys playing.
Carter is healthy (as far as we know), and he’s obviously young. We hope it won’t be long before he finds someone to love him as much as we do.
