We feel very badly for Bud. He was living happily in a home with his two feline "siblings" (a pair of 17 year old cats) when the home was destroyed by fire. For a while, all of the cats were living outside among the debris, including a good deal of glass. The two seventeen year olds were taken in by a very kind individual and are now in a permanent foster situation, while Bud came to us.

We think Bud was born around mid-2005. He’s a good-looking orange-and-white boy, but he needs to go on a diet—he’s really rather chunky. Bud had entropion, a condition where part of the eyelid folds or turns inward. This can cause an eyelash or hair to irritate or scratch the surface of the eyeball. However, there is corrective surgery for this, which he has had, and he suffered no damage to his vision. Sometimes, entropion can recur, but if this happens, Tabby’s Place will fix it again.

Bud is generally a good-natured guy. We know he’d do best in a home situation, and after the bad luck he’s had, he deserves one! Come in to meet our big orange-and-white guy; you might just go home with a new best friend.
