Brittany has been through a lot in her short life. She was rescued from a shelter in Brooklyn along with her six kittens just in the nick of time as they were all schedule for euthanasia. They were all adopted over a year ago, but sadly Brittany was recently returned because her owner was moving.
Brittany is the sweet, affectionate, purry girl that we remember her as; although, she continues to not much care for other cats. We think she’d do best in a home with no or few other cats.
Her previous owner noted that she does nip on occasion and urinated outside the litter box a few times. We haven’t seen this behavior here, so it’s entirely possible that it was the result of being in a stressful environment. Unfortunately there’s no way to know if this behavior would continue in a new home.
Brittany is a gorgeous calico girl.
She’s got a lot of white on the lower half of her face and body, with some large patches of coloration, but she also has some typical calico mottling on her coat, and the funniest little black tip on half of her nose (the other half is white).
If you have a thing for calicos, as some of us do, you’ll want to see our newest edition. Come in to check her out!
