Whether you pronounce his name like that of the rock star or the town in Maryland, our Bowie is one big boy. He’s a medium-haired, buff-colored male, with a white patch on his chest and pale green eyes. He is, to be truthful, rather too chunky, so for now he’s living in our weight management suite.

Bowie was sent to a shelter when his former owner was jailed. Supposedly, his former home was in pretty bad shape. What’s certain is that Bowie has had good experiences with people in the past, as he’s genuinely fond of human company. He’s a little unsure about the other cats right now, but we think much of that is because he’s so new in his suite; he’s really still getting used to everything here.

Our best guess is that Bowie was born sometime in 2006. He’s healthy as far as we can determine. If you’ve always wanted your very own “big cat”, come in to meet our rock star feline!
