BooBoo

Boo Boo ended up in a shelter when his former owner lost their home. It’s obvious immediately that his experiences around people have been positive, though, as he’s a very sociable boy. He loves people and was described by his former owner as a lap cat. He’s a stunning long-haired male, with white hind “socks”, white on his front feet, white whiskers, and white on his chin that continues down across his chest and his tummy; the rest of his coat is black. He likes to play almost as much as he likes attention.

Boo Boo was born in 2008. He has a heart murmur and mild HCM (HCM is the most common type of heart disease in cats). As he is quite young, he had his first ultrasound when he arrived here (incidentally, he’s so laid-back that he just lay on the table cooperatively for his ultrasound). He’ll have another ultrasound in March to see if the HCM has progressed, but it may stay stable for years; there’s no way to know. At present, he is not on any medication for this.
This is a great boy, and we expect he’ll be adopted quickly. Come in to meet him soon!
Update: Booboo was adopted in 2012 and recently returned to us through no fault of his own.
