Bolaris

The best description of Bolaris I’ve heard came from one of the Tabby’s Place staff. She said, “If there’s a lump under a blanket in Suite B, it will be Bolaris.” This is a very timid male, on the larger side. He’s a handsome gray-and-white guy, with white on all four paws and a white blaze on his face and other white patches on his coat. If you slowly and carefully lift up the blanket under which he’s hiding, he’ll sometimes give you head butts and be affectionate for a bit, until he recalls that he’s scared and darts off to hide again. Bolaris MUST go to a home without small children. He’s very gentle and wouldn’t hurt them, but he would be terrified by them.

Bolaris and Cecily, his sister (also a resident of Tabby’s Place) were born in 2006, we estimate. Bolaris has no health issues of which we are aware. While Bolaris and Cecily do not need to be adopted together, we’d like any potential adopter of one to at least consider adopting both. We think Bolaris will calm down with time, but he’ll need a patient adopter.
