Blue’s name is an inside joke. Upon first seeing him, a vet exclaimed, "Oh, a Russian Blue!" We suspect that that vet was trying just a little too hard to make our boy into a purebred, and we’re officially describing Blue as a solid gray male. He’s of small-to-medium size, and our best guess is that he was born very early in 2014.

There is no question that Blue has lived in a house before. He’s very comfortable indoors. While we do not know how he became homeless, it’s certain that he had good experiences with people at some point in his life. He’s a happy, affectionate boy. Although he’s slightly timid in new situations, it doesn’t take him long to warm up to someone, particularly if that someone gives him canned food (it’s worth noting that Blue is not a fan of kibble or even dry treats).

Blue has no health issues of which we’re aware. All he needs now is a loving "forever" home, and we’re hopeful that it won’t be long before this deserving boy is given just that.
