We have some unusual information for Barry: a birth date. The shelter from which he came to us lists his date of birth as May 8, 2009. He’s a young animal, and he’s very playful. Barry is wonderfully sweet with most people, though we suggest he go to a home without small children (he can nip occasionally).

Barry was adopted from his previous shelter, but he was returned because the family had a dog and the two animals didn’t get along. We don’t know if this was circumstantial or if Barry just doesn’t like dogs. We think he’d do best as an only cat, as well, though he can be OK with other felines if they don’t get in his face.

With his solid gray coat and big amber eyes, Barry attracts many comments about his smart good looks. Come in to meet him soon!
