Azalea

Satomi and Azalea are two more of the record number of kittens we’ve gotten in this spring. They were born to our Magnolia on April 22, 2014 (Magnolia has already been spayed and adopted, and Satomi and Azalea’s brother Yoshino is on hold). Satomi, the male, has an unusual coat. It’s black with gray flecks, and he has white on his chest and tummy. Little girl Azalea is a tortoiseshell. Because Magnolia had no milk when she gave birth, her kittens were bottle-fed by one of our indefatigable staff. The babies were also handled a great deal in their foster home, so they are well-accustomed to people. When these two pause briefly from wrestling or running around the Community Room like maniacs, they are purry and affectionate.

To date, neither Satomi nor Azalea has been large enough to spay/neuter, but we’ll take care of that when they’ve grown just a bit more. Note that the two do not need to be adopted together, but we’d like any potential adopter to consider two kittens, since it’s nice for a young’un to have someone their own age on whom they can take out some of their incredible energy.

We know this duo will be adopted quickly, so come in to meet them if you think you might be interested.
