Playful Andre is a warm-hearted guy. He has white hind legs, white on his front paws, a white muzzle and white on his face; the rest of his coat is black, including a funny little black “freckle” right on his nose. He has a rather skinny tail. He was born sometime in 2007, according to our best estimate.

The shelter from which Andre came to us notes that he enjoys being held and carried, but I cannot speak to that from personal experience. The shelter also told us that he likes his chin rubbed and is good-natured, and we know both of those to be true. Andre has been getting along well with his suite-mates, so we doubt he’d have problems with other cats in a different environment.

We know Andre would do well in a wide variety of homes. Black and white cats are often overlooked by potential adopters because they don’t stand out in appearance, but if you’re searching for a good-natured cat, don’t overlook this sweet boy.
