Ada

Oh, my! Wait until you see this little charmer! Our Ada, probably born around June of 2012, isn’t very large, but she’s got the silkiest medium-length fur going (she’s all black), as well as enormous eyes. She can be quite vocal when she thinks you’re not paying enough attention to her, which is most of the time. Our Sanctuary Manager describes her as “definitely a bit spoiled”, but in the same breath adds that she adores attention and loves to cuddle. She’s also quite playful. Ada does not seem to be thrilled with other cats (maybe she just wants all the attention herself).

Ada is one of our Special Needs crew. She has some spinal abnormalities; she’s missing a couple of vertebrae, including one where her tail belongs (she has no tail). She has some history of incontinence, but she did have a urinary tract infection when she came in; Ada also has bowel incontinence. Because of her spinal abnormalities, her gait is somewhat lumbering.

At this writing (3/14/13), Ada is still new to Tabby’s Place. We’ll be more sure of her personality and traits a little further down the line, so check back here for updates on this stunning young lady.
