You can see from Ace’s build that he isn’t a pure tabby; he has that pointy chin and lanky frame associated with Abyssinians. Ace certainly inherited the classic brown tabby coloring, with just a bit of white under his chin. As far as we can determine, he’s a young cat, about 2 years old (as of 10/2009).

Our experience with Ace is that he can be quite friendly. In a situation with other cats, he can be skittish, but we think he’s still adjusting to his new environment. Comments from the shelter through which Ace came to us indicate that he’s “laid back”, “likes other cats”, and “walks around like he owns the place”, so it may just be that he needs time to settle in here.

Because he’s gorgeous, young and, as far as we know, in good health, we’re hoping that Ace will find his “forever” home soon.
