Sour citrus peels need to be simmered with sugar to turn into a tasty preserve. Our Marmalade, too, needs a little bit of time to become her sweet self. Marmalade previously lived in an outdoor colony, so she can be a little shy at first. Once she feels comfortable, however, she’s very affectionate. This gentle senior girl especially likes soft scritches on her chin and head, and the quiet presence of a human nearby.

Marmalade has settled in well to our Community Room and gets along with her feline roommates. She’d appreciate a calm indoor home in which to spend her golden years, either alone or with other kitties.
