Needs daily medication for stomatitis

By all accounts, our Josephine is one magnificent feline!

Transcendent among torties, Josephine has been described as the quintessential cat, full of love and affection. Certainly, her great beauty is unsurpassed. And while she may not act the diva, she really is dazzling.

Josephine is a world class cat of the highest order. Docile and affectionate, this pretty little puss is a kind and benevolent soul. She adores being carried about, babied and held. Pulling on your heartstrings is just part of Josephine’s character. Even her emerald green eyes are both benevolent and brilliant. In fact, word has it around Tabby’s Place that Josephine could be Phi Beta Kappa and a Mensa member if they offered such distinctions to cats!

An FIV+ cat, Josephine requires daily medication for stomatitis, a condition where chronic inflammation affects the soft tissues of the mouth.  Simply put, Josephine’s autoimmune system overreacts to the plaque on her teeth which, left untreated, can lead to painful, cherry red gums and potential tooth loss. Of course, Josephine will count on you to help her maintain her regal smile and positive attitude. After all, she enjoys being known as a royal with a sunny disposition.

Josephine is eager to hold court in your household and be treated like the queen she truly is. Ready to welcome her home? Fill out an adoption application today!
