If ever there was a bundle of joy in feline form, it is certainly lovely, little Lynette! Sweetly feminine and demure, she is a pretty tortoiseshell pixie with one giant purr and a great big heart. Comfortably residing in the Tabby’s Place lounge with her fellow diabetic cats, she is a delightful friend and companion — but it is people she really adores. And “people food” simply sends her over the moon! She is eager to try
anything anyone might be enjoying for lunch. And, although it’s tempting to indulge her, we’ve learned curbing her appetite is very important in preventing tummy troubles. But resisting that sweet face, when she wants to share a treat, can challenge even the toughest among us!
Lynette is sixteen years old and she came to us from a loving owner who could no longer care for her. A lengthy “escape” from her home into the great outdoors left her beautiful, long hair hopelessly matted – thus, the close shave you see in her pictures. As it grows out, we are certain that Lynette will become an even fluffier version of the cuddle bunny she is right now.
As Lynette is a bit of a delicate older lady, she would most likely do well in a quieter home environment. She would be great company for another older cat and is a docile, loving “lap cat.” While staying here at Tabby’s Place, she has enjoyed stroller walks and going on “Aged to Purrfection” visits with our friends in senior living facilities. Lynette is looking for a home with someone as loving as she is. Might that be you? Please consider filling out an online adoption application today.
