Miriel is a beautiful, sweet, and fun loving cat with a coat that’s rich colors represents the warm heart that beats within. She will charm you by doing a little dance and tapping your hand with her paws – she is a bit of a flirt and will draw you in with her deep, soulful eyes and robust purr! She also loves to nuzzle your hands or face and loves to knead (“make muffins”) on a blanket or cat bed. Miriel has been charismatic and outgoing since the first day of her arrival.
Miriel is positive for FeLV, or feline leukemia, an immunosuppressive virus. The lifespan of cats with FeLV is variable, but cats with FeLV live happy lives and man have normal life spans. FeLV is not transmissible to humans or other species, but it can be transmissible to other cats. It is not recommended that a cat with FeLV cohabitates with FeLV negative cats, but they can cohabitate with other positive cats.
Miriel was brought to us by local animal control after she was found with three other cats at a nearby property. In her Suite, she has done well with other cats. She would be great with children or a wonderful companion to a single cat parent. She is simply looking to be loved and to give love.
