Magda is an honest testament to the magic and wonder that is Tabby’s Place. Originally part of an outdoor colony where she did not have regular human contact and therefore was not properly socialized, she arrived at Tabby’s Place wary and shy around people. However, through the patience and love of our staff and volunteers, Magda has come out of her shell and is irreconcilable with the cat she used to be!

Enter Magda’s suite and you will always find her in her usual spot, waiting patiently for you. She is not the type to demand your attention, although she is secretly craving it. Instead she quietly yet eagerly watches you, willing you to come over and choose her. Once you do, it is clear that you have chosen wisely. Magda is so full of love it spills out of her. She leans into the chin scratches, embraces the belly rubs, and rises into the butt scratches, meeting you halfway. She flops excitedly around her cubbie in a comical, almost otter-like way, hungrily making up for all the affection on which she had been missing out. She loves to give you her affection just as much as she loves to get yours. And when she looks up at you with those gorgeous green eyes, purring the glorious sound of a cat who is content, you will be enchanted.
