Sometimes you wonder what someone was thinking when they named a cat. (“Skimbleshanks“, anyone?) But not in this case. Take one look at Frankie, the handsome, mostly-white senior fellow who resides at Tabby’s Place, and you’ll have to admit, “Ol’ Blue Eyes” is right on target. Those tuffets of black fur just above his soulful sapphire orbs add to the effect, giving him the look of a crooner who’s seen his share of tough times, but is bouncing back even stronger.
Frankie and his longtime housemate Jeannie came here together, but unlike a good many pairs, they don’t need to be adopted together. Not to belabor the Sinatra comparison, but actually, “The Chairman of the Board” would much prefer to be an only cat. Stories are already being whispered around Tabby’s Place about him being a bit of a bully toward other cats. But he’s more often a perfect gentleman cat who has a big personality coming through, and a desire to be top of the heap, A-Number One. It’s not that Frankie is Bad to the Bone, but rather that he’s just not in the mood for sharing his digs with other cats.
This handsome hunk of a feline is also multitalented. Having given us all a run for our money with his antics indoors, he’s decided that he enjoys (safe) outdoor time as well. Whether it’s going for a leisurely stroll in his “chariot” (one of our many strollers) or strutting the catwalk in his swanky harness, Frankie is ready to roll. This big guy loves to bust out (with supervision) and enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of the outdoors. Calm, cool, and collected as ever, Frankie exudes confidence wherever he goes. All in all, this big guy is ready to go and explore!
Frankie is in good shape physically, too, so if you’re looking for a companion who’s a big-hearted “Here I Am!” kind of cat, Frankie is your guy. And you don’t even need to go all the way to New York, New York. A trip to Ringoes, New Jersey will be all it takes. Come on in and Frankie is sure to sidle on up and give you a holler. Between his good looks, stunning white coat, and bold personality, Frankie is not to be ignored.
