Rawlings is more than ready to give up the feral life for a nice comfy home!
Rawlings is a sweet boy who came to us as a TNR (trap-neuter-return). Originally, Rawlings was only slated to stay with us for a short while while his kitty cold resolved, but Rawlings quickly proved that he’s fit for the cushy indoor lifestyle. This handsome sweetheart would much prefer getting plenty of attention than fending for himself on the streets!
Although the transition to indoor life was a little scary at first, Rawlings has adjusted well to our sanctuary! He is frequently found curled up in one of his favorite beds, but if you call gently to him, he’ll meow and come on over for attention! Rawlings is a tad on the timid side but makes up for his nervousness with sweetness. All this gentleman needs is a little extra patience as he adjusts to new people and a new home.
Rawlings has rhinitis (a chronic nasal condition) that makes him a little bit permanently “snorkly,” but Rawlings doesn’t seem to mind. As long as he has a full belly, a comfy bed to hide away in, and plenty of good scritches, he’s happy just as he is!
