When you walk into Suite C, you’ll see a number of good-sized cats, and they’re in there because we’re trying to help bring them down a size or two. But if you look up on the ramp, there, curled up in a soft bed, you might see a cat who’s the opposite of plus-sized. This minus-sized cat (if you will) is a petite beauty named Nyla.
This wee lady tux arrived in spring 2021, has a clean bill of health and regularly displays plenty of youthful energy. Sure, Nyla enjoys her naps as much as the next cat, but in her case it’s as though she’s hooked up to a hidden charger while she snoozes. And when she wakes up, there’s sometimes a release of energy that could power a nearby town. The key is keeping that feisty spirit under control, and that’s an area she’ll need to work on. Nyla is looking for an experienced adopter who understands her occasional need for some space. But youth is on her side, and a patient, loving human who properly spoils her with wand toys and treats will help speed that process along.
As far as other felines go, Nyla just isn’t a fan. She’s not one to start a fight, but Nyla would much rather spend her time away from other cats. Nyla would do best as a solo cat or in a home with other laidback cats.
