Edith is an older gal looking for a quiet, calm home where she can live out her years in comfort. After spending most of her life outdoor in a colony, she deserves a chance at a cushy life where she can give and get as much love as she desires.
Edith came to us along with several other older ladies after the caretaker of her colony passed away. Edith was very sad and scared where she first arrived as she didn’t understand why she had to leave the only home she had ever known. With time, Edith has settled in nicely into our Community Room, where she can snooze in the sunlight by the windows or curl up in her favorite basket underneath the staff desks.
If you enjoy curling up on the couch with a good book and a cup of tea, Edith would be a great match for your family! She would do best with a patient family that will give her some time to settle in and will shower her with love. Once she opens up, she is incredibly affectionate and will grab your hands with her paws, asking for more neck scritches. Edith does well with other laidback felines and would do well in a multi-cat home or as a solo cat.
Although Edith may be a senior, we anticipate she will have several long years ahead of her. She is healthy now that she is living a safe indoor life and would treasure the opportunity to be a beloved and spoiled housecat.
