Crunchwrap is as adorable – and “crunchy” – as her name suggests!
Crunchwrap came to us from another shelter with a history of severe skin allergies that just wouldn’t clear up. Her former foster had nick-named her Crunchwrap due to her skin being a bit flaky and “crunchy,” and we thought that the name was too cute to change! In addition to her allergies, she was so itchy that she unfortunately ended up scratching her own eye and had to wear an e-collar. Lucky for her, we were able to find some soft, oh-so-adorable plush collars shaped like strawberries and pineapples to make the experience a little bit comfier for her.
This sweet girl is also only about the size of a few supersized Crunchwrap Supremes from your local Taco Bell! At around 6 pounds, she is permanently the size of a kitten despite being a fully grown adult. But don’t worry – this pint-sized princess packs a lot of personality.
Crunchwrap is very sweet and loves to be doted on. She enjoys brushes and chin and neck scratches and will be your best friend if you show her some love. She can be a little reserved when you first meet her, but she warmly up pretty quickly. She loves to snuggle into warm and fluffy blankets and enjoys having a heated bed. Crunchwrap also seems to get along ok with other cats, but seems to prefer to find a spot to herself. She would likely do well as a solo cat or in a home with other laid back felines.
Crunchwrap will need lifelong care to make sure that her allergies stay in check. She is doing very well with her current regimen and hypoallergenic diet and her skin is looking great! No longer is this Crunchwrap so crunchy! We are working on finding a long-term course to make sure that she stays feeling her best.
