Flip Flop is an adorable young lady who wants nothing more than to be your friend!
Although she can be the tiniest bit shy upon first making your acquaintance, Flip Flop is all love once she realizes you’re a new friend. This sweet girl loves all attention and will come up to you looking for pets and head scratches. She is still acclimating to her new surroundings and is a tad nervous, but we are sure that she would make a great couch cat in the right family’s home.
Flip Flop was surrendered to us by her previous owner when they were no longer able to care for her. Flip Flop clearly yearns for the safety and love of her own home again and we know that the right one is out there waiting for her!
As her name hints, Flip Flop has an unusual physical condition: her back feet are “flip-flopped” or “put on backwards.” Despite her physical difference, however, Flip Flop gets around just fine. She has perfect litterbox manners and can go on her own, but a low-entry litter pan is helpful for her. She can still walk, run, and climb like any other cat. She may not be quite as fast as a normal cat, she can be very active and we have even found her climbing up on top of our couches and cat trees!
