Moderate Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), inappropriate elimination

Bianca is a happy, spunky little girl who’s full of energy!

Bianca favorite thing in the world is toys! She loves all kinds of toys – electronic, wand, mice, plastic balls, pieces of paper she’s decided to shred – and is almost always looking for something or someone to play with. Every morning, she meows excitedly to be let out of her playpen, ready to greet the day and have some fun! When she’s not looking for toys, she’s either looking for some love or a nice, cozy spot to curl up and take a nap.

Bianca is a very happy-go-lucky girl with a personality that’s bigger than she is! At two years old and less than 6 pounds, she is quite petite indeed! Bianca will always be a tad on the small side, but that will never slow her down.

Bianca gets along with both people and cats. While other cats might be a bit wary at first of Bianca when she flops right next to them for cuddles, Bianca doesn’t mind. She loves her feline companions anyways. She would do great in a house with other active, playful, cat-friendly cats.

Bianca has a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), also referred to as “Wobbly Cat Syndrome.” This means that Bianca’s cerebellum (the part of the brain that deals with balance and coordination) didn’t form correctly in utero. Bianca has a moderate to severe case and is quite wobbly, but still manages to get around on her own. She will need some life long accommodations, such as a low litter box (her litter box manners are not always the best), help climbing any stairs, and a little extra attention during the day, but she is very active and happy. The most important part of CH is that it is not progressive or painful; she is not suffering and her wobbliness will not get worse. She will always be a bit special but can live a long, happy life with the right family.
