Twisted back legs

Wayne and Garth. Michael Scott and Dwight Schrute. Woody and Buzz Lightyear.

Americans love a good buddy story, and recent arrivals Twister and Gogi hope to make their shared American Dream come true: a forever home, together. The dynamic duo traveled here from Beirut, where the staff at Animals Lebanon described them as BFFs. Former strays Twister and Gogi were rescued separately, but only four days apart. They’ve been inseparable ever since their first meeting. Maybe the one-year-old lads had been friends before they were found?

Twister is a healthy orange tabby whose name comes from his interesting physical condition: This creamsicle’s back legs turn inward at their joints and therefore, Twister cannot use his back feet. Nevertheless, he can walk and use the litter box on his own; he simply does not have the same house-panther mobility as his pal, Gogi. Perhaps this is why Twister is a bit shy. Nonetheless, he is an absolute sweetheart and being around his buddy helps his confidence. Can you give Twister the love and nurturing he hopes for?

If you’d like to be the third member of Twister and Gogi’s squad, stop by and visit them during our public hours. Please see our Visit Us page for updated hours.
