Tipsy is an incredibly sweet and gentle boy. He loves to hang out at the bottom of the cat tree and nap all afternoon. If you pick him up to cuddle, he loves to curl up and tuck himself underneath your chin. He is quickly winning over all our Staff and volunteers’ hearts with his beautiful green gaze and sweet demeanor.
Just like any kitten, Tipsy loves to play. He is a little clumsy and sometimes flops over on his side while chasing wand toys, but he could play for hours on end. Tipsy also enjoys playing and hanging out with his friends in the Community Room and would likely do well in a household with other felines.
Tipsy has a mild case of Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). CH is when the cerebellum (part of the brain that deals with balance) doesn’t form entirely. This means that cats with CH have varying levels of coordination or “wobbliness.” In his case, Tipsy is able to do pretty much everything a cat without CH can do, although he is not the best at climbing. He has almost no trouble walking around, getting up stairs, eating, and using the litter box. His condition is not progressive, meaning he will always simply be a little wobbly, but his condition will not get worse. He is happy and otherwise healthy and is overall a wonderful and special little boy.
This handsome tuxedo boy needs a special home. Could that be with you? Come and visit him during our public hours. Please see our Visit Us page for updated information.
