Topache is pure love wrapped up in a handsome orange tabby coat.
When you first meet Topache, you will fall in love with him immediately. All this cuddly boy wants to do is plunk his paws on your shoulders and smother you in kisses. When he first arrived, he was quarantined in our ringworm room (as ringworm is a very mild but difficult to treat fungus). Nonetheless, Topache’s spirit was not dimmed. He continues to be very talkative and loving. He loves people and cannot get enough attention.
Topache (Toe-pash), or Topaz in Arabic, came to us all the way from the country of Lebanon. We don’t know a lot about his background other than he was rescued off the streets by the wonderful folks at Animals Lebanon. Due to some sort of old injury, he lost one eye, but he sees perfectly well out of the other. He was also diagnosed with FIV. Topache’s rescuers did the best they could for him, but they realized that they needed help finding him a home. Thankfully, they were able to arrange for a volunteer to fly them all the way to the United States.
