Hamsa is a pretty tortoiseshell; she has a darker coat of black, brown, and orange, with an orange stripe down her nose. She is, um, not svelte. Although she’s small in size, she’s been described as being just as wide as she is long. She has a slight peculiarity to her walk, due to a minor congenital condition. This is not painful for her, it will not progress, and there’s no treatment for it, but the result is that she walks as though she’s wearing ballerina slippers on her hind feet. Too cute!
Our best guess is that Hamsa was born in late May of 2018. Hamsa adores other felines, a nice plus. When she came to us, she was shy with people, but she’s made big strides forward since her arrival. With a little extra love and patience Hamsa would blossom into a wonderful companion.
We’re hoping that a good match for Hamsa will soon walk through our doors. If you like what you’ve read about her, we urge you to come in to meet her!
