Gentle Amos came to us from an outdoor cat colony. He clearly had a tough life up until his arrival here. His body and face show the scars of old wounds, broken bones and pellet shots, artifacts of valiant tales of strength and survival that we will never know. Sadly, his body is so war-torn that he cannot return to life outside.
Now Amos lives a life of comfort in our Executive Director’s office where he is spoiled with treats, comfy beds and as much attention as he will allow us to bestow upon him. He’s still a somewhat shy, reserved guy, but he loves his new life. Finally, he feels that he’s in a safe place where he can play, relax and ponder, “What will the next chapter of my life hold?” He hopes that his story ends in a loving home with someone to love him.
