Adopted with Phoebe (#2510)

Janey was adopted from Tabby’s Place as a kitten in 2013. The couple who adopted her had an existing cat, Phoebe, who was slightly older and needed a companion. All went well until the fall of 2017, when the man suddenly passed away and the woman decided to move to a different country. Of course, we were willing to take Janey back (we are always willing to take back a Tabby’s Place cat if an adoption is not working out, even if it’s many years after the adoption took place). Because Janey and Phoebe are bonded, we also took in Phoebe.

Janey is an extra large girl, black except for a large white spot on her chest. She needs to lose some weight, and, much to her annoyance, we are watching her food intake very carefully. She’s the more outgoing of the pair. Phoebe, who’s a bit more reserved in temperament, is almost all black with just a few white hairs, and she’s of medium size. We know that both girls enjoy being brushed. Janey was born in March of 2013, and Phoebe, in December of 2012. Both girls are gentle and even-tempered.

We’d love to see this duo placed in a “forever” home. Neither has any medical issues of which we are aware, and our hope is that the right person or family will soon walk through our doors.
