Update for Anka

Dear Friends,

I hope this note finds you warm, loved, and surrounded by snacks—because that’s the energy I’m bringing this month. ❄️❤️

Last month brought snow, cozy vibes, and a little sleepover. When a big snowstorm rolled in, some of my favorite Tabby’s Place humans spent a couple of nights with the cats to take care of medications, feeding, cleaning, and socializing so others could stay home and be safe.

Tabby’s Place keeps two cots on site for emergencies, and staff brought extra air mattresses as well. One of my daytime human roommates set up a cot right in our office, and I snuggled with them for two whole nights. Cozy blankets, warm human, lots of cuddles—it was the highlight of my January. I hope we can have more sleepovers!

At the end of January, I was a bit under the weather with a poor appetite (always a sign I’m not feeling well) and tummy upset. Thankfully, I felt better just in time for our recent second annual Your Feline Valentine event.

At the start of the event, sponsors had their own special time to visit with their cats. I’m so grateful I got to meet and see some of you again. That was the highlight of my February.

I even got to go on several stroller rides in the building. And after much begging, my driver and good friend, Kevin, took me outside for 30 seconds of fresh air in the freezing temperatures. I’m big and furry, so I enjoy quick bursts of cold air.

Between storm watch, extra cuddles, and my usual important duties (napping, being handsome, reminding everyone I’m the boss), I’ve been living my best life. Thank you for being my forever Valentine. Because of you, I’m warm, safe, loved, and well cared for—even during snowstorms.

Sending you head bonks, slow blinks, and lots of furry hugs.

All my love,
Anka
