Special Update for Taylor Ham

Special Update for Taylor Ham

Dear Friends,

I’m writing you a special update that I’m sure will make you smile — I’ve been adopted!

I’m going home with a beautiful family, and my “person” is a young man who wanted to adopt an older cat to live a happy life in a loving home.

When he came to see me, I knew immediately that he was my person. The minute our eyes met, I rolled onto my back to show him my substantial belly and purred up a storm. We both knew right away that we were meant to be together.

I get to start the New Year – my best yet! – in my own home, for the very first time. I am beyond overjoyed.

There are rumors that cats who get adopted from Tabby’s Place are spoiled by loving families, and they get lots of attention, soft beds, toys and treats!

Since I’ve been told I’m being adopted, I’ve been dreaming about snuggling with my family on the couch, sneaking up behind them when they drop food (and scarfing it before they notice), and sleeping on a human bed.

I’m waiting for my new family to come get me and bring me home ❤️

My person works from home sometimes, so I also plan to lounge on top of his computer to ‘help out’ while he rubs my belly and tells me how lucky he is to have found me 😊.

I’ve come a long way from begging for food outside a women’s prison with my friend, Chicken Nugget. (Fun Fact: we were named after the foods we enjoyed!)

I feel so lucky for my time at Tabby’s Place. Your friendship and support helped ensure I was safe, cared for and loved while I waited for my forever family. Thank you for loving me and always being there for me.

I may be leaving Tabby’s Place, but I will always carry your kindness in my heart.

Your forever-grateful friend,

Taylor Ham 🐾
(With help from your correspondent, Mary)

P.S. from Mr. Ham’s correspondent, Mary: I was lucky enough to give our boy lots of hugs and kisses the morning that he went home with his new family. We are all so grateful to you for your steadfast loyalty and for being a beacon of light in Taylor Ham’s life at Tabby’s Place!

Chicken Nugget can’t wait to introduce himself to you!

Since Taylor Ham has found his forever family, your sponsorship has been transferred to another Advanced Needs cat in need: charming Chicken Nugget. Like Taylor Ham, Chicken Nugget is FIV+ and has diabetes, but Nugget is still insulin dependent and has some other health issues like asthma and heart disease. But Chicken Nugget is also as sweet as the honey dipping sauce that accompanies his name sake and he can’t wait to share his Tabby’s Place adventures with you.

If you’d prefer to choose a different cat to sponsor, you can meet them all here. Please feel free to email us if you’d like to transfer your support to a different kitty. (Otherwise, going forward you will receive updates on Chicken Nugget each month.)

Thank you again for your kindness and generosity to Taylor Ham. You’ve helped to make this marvelous news possible for him, and we’re so grateful!
