Dear Team Regina,
Bells are jingling, icicles are tinkling, and Tabby’s Place staff are once more absorbed with a challenging conundrum: How do you decorate a holiday tree in a home full of cats?
After all, if an ornament sparkles, shimmers, spins, or glimmers, it is certainly going to capture the curiosity of a joyful, fun-loving feline. As sure as a scrap of metallic gift wrap or a bright seasonal bow can capture the fancy of a rambunctious kitten, so can a carefully stacked pile of presents prove enticing to a bustling babe such as Regina. With so many holidays like Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa to celebrate at one time, Tabby’s Place is even jollier than ever!
Speaking of jolly, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the overwhelming turnout of visitors for Thanksgiving with the Cats. Quite a few sponsors came to greet and visit their favorite felines. We can’t begin to express our enormous gratitude to you, and all of our sponsors and supporters, for your many gifts and donations! At a time when so many of us are carefully keeping an eye on our personal budgets, it is incredibly meaningful and heartwarming that you keep the cats in the forefront of your thoughts. It gives Regina and me great pause to think of how your generosity saves the lives of so many very cats.

On the health front, Regina started leaking urine this month, but there was no sign of infection. She is getting herself out of some of her skoot skirts and has a wonderful time scooting around at high speed. The problem is that she quickly develops skin sores on her rear legs (the reason for the skirts in the first place).
She and Oram really enjoy playing and working out together. Their suitemate, Sweetie, continues his quest for courage, braving forays into the Quinn’s Corner lobby in the afternoons when all is quiet. He also seems to enjoy snuggling with Oram. The pair were spotted curled up together engaged in mutual grooming in an elevated bed.
For her part, Regina is enjoying her time in Suite G and is particularly fond of her new holiday digs. The “firry” holiday motif of her new little tent seems to suit her designer tastes, and our feline fashionista is looking forward to donning a scarlet red or emerald green skoot skirt—preferably in soft, silky satin or pretty, plush velvet. We understand that seasonal plaids are also very outré for the “chic chat” this year, so a tiny tam or beret may be in order, too.
In any case, you just know Regina will be rockin’ it fashion-wise throughout the rest of December. And we simply cannot wait to see the ensemble she chooses for New Year’s Eve! She’s been awfully busy lately polishing her tiara.
Oram and Sweetie, too, will be dressed to impress … if Regina has anything to say about it. After all, a gentleman must be attired in his finest mufti if he’s going to escort a dazzling mademoiselle to a festive holiday fete.
And, thanks to you and your generosity, our wonderful Regina plans to be the belle of the ball this season.
Wishing you and your dear ones glamorous, tinsel-filled days of song and celebration. Thank you again for your beautiful generosity to dear Regina.
Your correspondent,
Tina
