Update for Hips

Looking for opportunities to chase other kitties!

Hips’ Happenings #18

Happy End of Spring and Beginning of Summer, dear Sponsors and Tabby’s Place Lovers!

I am so happy that we have sunshine and not so much rain.  So, here is my latest update.

When I came to Tabby’s Place, I had to paw print a contract to guard the lobby area.  I really wasn’t too happy about doing chores, but little did I know that this would be a piece of cake (or some catnip) for me.

Working hard…

You see, Olive watches the door….Grecca takes care of the back of the lobby, and Boobalah has the desk and phone.  I, on the other hand, just love to lie in the bed on the desk and supervise my ladies.  As you can see from the photo, Boobalah is doing a great job.

So to fill my days, I have been getting into mischief (when I am not napping).  I love chasing the kitties around the lobby but seem to always come back to teasing the love of my life, Prescott.  She is such a sweet kitty, but I just can’t resist.  I know she gets tired of having me chase her and swat at her…So I am hoping the staff here can figure out why I am being so naughty with my girlfriend.

The new gate is SOOOOOOOOOOOO Tall! Yikes! They might have me this time.

And, remember last month when I was climbing the gate to get into our Director’s (Jonathan’s) office?  Well, I have been perfecting my climbs and have been spending a lot of time in that wonderful space with all the forbidden food and the soft beds.  But the staff has been on it.  They closed the door on me.

And guess what….yep, you guessed it…I saw when they opened it. If they forgot to close it again, I was over the gate and inside.

So, they tried something else…They put a fleece blankie over the gate so that I would not be able to get a pawhold.  Well, that didn’t last long because I was able to pull off the blankie and once again, climb that gate.  HOWEVER, I am now a bit stymied… they got a NEW GATE.  It is so very tall that I am not sure I can climb it. I will have to be very inventive to see how to get into the Director’s office.  Time will tell if I can figure this one out.

Until then, I will have to be happy with my lobby and my playtime with the other kitties.

Healthwise, I am just fine.  I am so enjoying all my days and spend a lot of time napping and rejuvenating for my next adventure.  If you are close by and have some free time, please stop by to visit me and the other kitties here…We would all love some pets and treatos…

Supervising the lobby activities

Until next month, sending you kitty purrs and kisses,
Hips
