The revolving door to the Kitten Room continues to swing wildly. As of this writing, a cavalcade of kittens have either been adopted or placed on hold: Rapunzel, Gamora, Nebula, Groot, Starlord (shown at right), Birch, Sasparilla, Fresca, Cola, Velcro, Button, Buckle, Zipper, Marcia, Cindy, Bobby, Greg, Eva and Iris. That leaves Lumiere, Mulan, Gaston, Chip, Peter, Jan, teens Zoey and Bertie, and newest-of-the-new Alice, Rupert, Sherlock, Joan (pictured below), Artemus and Tywin.
These last two sweeties arrived in dire need. Artemus was born to a feral mom, but it seems he was the runt of the litter. The little guy wouldn’t nurse, and initially ate quite poorly in our care. But, he’s rallying with his amazing foster mom Karina, and today Artemus’ future looks bright. The same is true for tiny orange Tywin, who arrived with a raging upper respiratory infection. In Jess’ loving care, our Game of Thrones-named guy is bound for a full recovery.
And because having so many little darlings at once makes for an abundance of adorable (notice I didn’t say *over*abundance. No such thing with kittens!), our kittens also featured in one of Tabby’s Place’s blog posts. Feast your eyes – and souls – on this!
Summer is nearly upon us, friends, and it will be sure to bring us even more new kittens and new families to love them. In the meantime, thank you for all you do for our little ones!
