Dearest Buddy lovers,
Spring means time spent outside, with birds to watch, fresh smells, and such excitement. In Suite FIV, this spring also means a number of new residents.
Our beloved Buddy approaches all new sights, sounds, cats, and people with a degree of regal caution. While it’s neither his first spring nor his first round of welcoming new pals, Buddy still demonstrates careful cat wisdom, observing from a distance before moving forward.
Timid Amos and mushy McNulty both moved into Buddy’s world this month. Semi-feral Amos has so far been too shy to spend much time with cats or people. This is just fine by Buddy, who remains in the comfort of his regular posse of pals.
McNulty, however, adores humans…but he is not crazy about other cats. Frankly, McNulty’s roommates cause him to behave a little bit squirrelly. Cats raining on his parade have occasionally caused him to redirect that nervousness and aggression towards people. But, McNulty is so generally good-natured that the Tabby’s Place staff is confident he will eventually settle in well.
Buddy has so far observed these new guys from a distance, biding his time until they’re ready for his friendship — a true prize to be earned from the ultimate cat’s cat.
Medically, Buddy has enjoyed another month of super health and high-flying energy.
Thank you so very much for your loving support of our beloved Buddy.
