Ninja, named for a performer in a South African pop group, is a fine large boy. He has medium-length fur with an all-black coat, and soulful green eyes. Our best guess is that Ninja was born in April of 2014; he has no health problems of which we are aware.

Ninja is as personable as he is handsome. He’s on the laid-back side, and he genuinely likes people; it’s a combination our staff has found difficult to resist, and I’ve heard distinct cooings over Ninja from some of them when they were refilling his food bowl or attending to him (at this writing, 4/20/15, he’s still in his initial quarantine period, so I haven’t met him myself).

We know that there are too many people who won’t look twice at a black cat when they’re thinking of adopting. But that’s a shame, because they’re missing out on some wonderful felines. We’re hoping Ninja will find his "forever" home sooner rather than later; he certainly deserves to!
