This is not the green, bendy, animated cartoon with which you are familiar. Our Gumby is a kitten with medium-length fur. He’s almost entirely black except for a very small white patch on his chest and a funny scattering of white hairs on his back. His coat seems almost woolly; it’s got a truly unusual texture to it, but he’s very soft.

Gumby is ACTIVE! Our best guess is that he was born at the end of July (2014), and, as is typical for a young’un of his age, he never stops moving except to eat or sleep (and both of those are merely brief interruptions to playtime). He seems to adjust easily to new circumstances and likes attention from people; he also plays well with the other kittens in our Community Room. Gumby was orphaned at a very young age, so he needs to learn a few manners; he’s prone to nipping. However, he has only been around other cats for a few days, and we expect that the presence of other felines will quickly teach him some manners. This little guy would do well in an active household; he’ll need someone to play with.
