News flash from Gradyville: our beloved boy is now off all medications!
If we thought Grady was a happy soul before, the tabby love-bug of the lobby has redefined “happy” for us now. The very day that Grady’s hated meds stopped, he was giddier than a 4-year-old at Disney Land.

…Mary has been adopted, after less than 4 months at Tabby’s Place.
Now, if ever we thought a cat could be “unadoptable,” Bagheera and his adopter smashed that prejudice last summer. But, by most estimations, wide-eyed Mary came close. Even this sweet pea’s original rescuer predicted, and I quote, “Mary will be a ‘lifer’ at Tabby’s Place.”

Update: Couch time for the Chester four

There’s happy news at Tabby’s Place this week: the four sweethearts rescued from the hoarding situation in Chester (the Dessert Kids, Twinkie, Cupcake, Strudel and Trifle) are out of quarantine and in a suite of their own.
Now begins the slow, patient work of helping them to learn that humans can love them well, and that life can be sweet. Times like this, I honestly wish we had a cat psychologist to help these babies process all they’ve seen and endured.
