Olive is a pretty little girl, small-to-medium in size. She has a white chin, chest, and tummy, with white on all four paws; the rest of her coat is black. Our best guess is that she was born around the beginning of August in 2014.

This young lady is very keen on looking outside through our front door, and she absolutely loves to play; wand toys are a particular favorite. We have one volunteer who brings in meat baby food for the elderly lobby cats once a week, and Olive is most insistent on having some, though she hardly qualifies as elderly!

Olive's active nature might be a surprise to some people, as she is paraplegic. We believe she was born that way. She was found alone at the age of about 5 weeks and brought up as an "only child". A kind family fostered her for some time, but they could not keep her forever.

Other than her paraplegia, Olive has no medical issues. She needs to wear a diaper, as she leaks urine. Although she has improved since she came to us, she's a temperamental girl, but if you know what you're doing and can read feline body language, you can have a great interaction with her. The fact that she loves to play is a big help here, and she also adores being brushed.

Obviously, Olive is not right for every home. We're seeking one special individual or family who can give this special girl all the love and care she deserves.
