Update for Taylor Ham

Dear Friends,

While the summer season still has some life to it, we’re starting to feel the stirrings of autumn here in Ringoes, New Jersey. As I look out my favorite, sun-filled window in the Lounge, I notice the subtle shifts taking place around me.

The days are getting shorter; staff and volunteers arrive in light jackets to shield themselves against the crisp morning air; there are small pops of color peeking from the trees; and there’s talk of pumpkin spice lattes.

I don’t know what a pumpkin spice latte is, but if it’s human food, I would like to try it.

Despite these little shifts, some things at Tabby’s Place are constant.

I am loved beyond measure. I get the best care to help me stay healthy and happy. I’m surrounded by human food, especially during lunchtime (even though I can’t have any). And my devoted friends and supporters are amazing (I’m looking at you! 😊).

The kind Tabby’s Place staff held their annual Volunteer Picnic recently. It’s one of the many ways the staff shows appreciation to our volunteers for all they do. While the weather was shaky earlier that day, the sun shone brightly for the picnic, and a double rainbow graced attendees.

I can’t help but think it’s all the Tabby’s Place feline residents that have passed, sending their love from the double-rainbow bridge.

I’m sending double-rainbow vibes your way, my dearest friends and supporters.

Love,
Taylor Ham
