Greetings, Friends of Rocky! Happy Spooky Season! 🎃

October is here and Royal Sir Rocky has some updates to share.
We’ve been unpacking and settling in to our new home. Since our last update, Rocky has continued to adjust beautifully, and with the stalwart provision of his necessary medication and care routine from your generosity, I am joyously happy to say he is doing very well!

The full-size staircase has been a new source of fun; with his favorite toy – the plastic spring – he dances up and down the stairs to chase them. It only takes a little click sound to get his attention, the immediate wide-eyed reaction is always a reminder of how precious he is.
Did moving cease his need to play with spring toys?
Absolutely NOT.
On a more serious note, a careful watchfulness has been employed to ensure the move would not be too stressful. He has designated his new favorite spots to claim for naps, and his sweetness remains as saccharine as ever. Even the positioning of litter boxes has been an easy transition – Rocky is quite a smart boy!

Rocky has also resumed his duties for being the Captain Of Neighborhood Watch, along with his ‘sister,’ Zelda, the Deputy Of Neighborhood Watch. She doesn’t share the same high level of intelligence, so she is second-in-command.
The courtyard has proven to be a very interesting place for him to observe. One new discovery he made has been which window to sit in so that he can watch folks walk around. Whether they know they’re being watched or not, I cannot say.
I can, however, say with certainty that Rocky is excellent in his vigilance, and continues to show his bravery and will to keep going. I find that admirable and love how he curls his tail up around his thigh as he sits.

His appetite, weight, and water intake are all remarkably and—thankfully—stable. I am incredibly glad to see this, as his life expectancy was likely to be uncertain, but on a joyously happy note—our lanky boy continues to flourish—I can never fully express my gratitude to you, his sponsors, who enjoy his antics.
Fondly,
Your correspondent,
Carrie
