Update for Mona

Hello dear sponsor,

Happy February! I hope that you are well. I have been spending most of my time outside in the solarium cuddled with my buddies Wolfie, Newman, and Lester.

Sometimes, however, I enjoy being outside by myself. Here is a photo of me taking my familiar trek through the Plexiglas tube that runs from the suite to the solarium. When I arrive in the solarium, my favorite place for solo reflection is the plastic igloo. In the igloo is a blanket, and also a heated plate, so it always feels nice and toasty in there!

Now, without further ado, it is my pleasure to present the monthly scoop from Suite FIV+. We welcomed Cisco back to our room from ringworm isolation. And great news — his lab work is all normal. McNulty had his behavior medication increased, and we hope this will allow him to feel calmer.

We also welcomed two new suitemates. Stormie is a very shy and quiet boy, and Rogue is a beautiful, 4-year-old, long-haired calico. I will get more information on these kitties and report back to you next month.

My health has been good, though I did lose one-half of a pound. It could just be due to the new food we’re eating, but my friends at Tabby’s Place are going to monitor me closely.

I leave you with a few words from Marcel Proust, in honor of Valentine’s day: “Let us be grateful to people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.”

Thank you, generous and loving sponsor, my own charming gardener. You make it possible for me to spend my days in a beautiful sanctuary where I can blossom into myself!
