Dear friends,
My regular correspondent is back. We have this thing where she transcribes what I’d like to say onto the computer so we can share it with you. I’d like to thank the kind correspondent who filled in the last couple of months for visiting with me and sharing my stories with you.
Either the holiday spirit or the Prozac I’m taking (or both) have contributed to a relatively quiet month in Suite FIV. There are no battles and scars to speak of among our rowdy bunch. Charlie, who does a great impersonation of a beached whale, has been especially enjoying the peace and quiet … perhaps a little too much. A recent visitor, upon seeing Charlie in his typical coma-like state, asked “Is this cat okay?” Yep, that’s our Charlie! A big, lazy, lounging love-bug.
With the shorter days, I’ve been quite the lounger myself these last several weeks. Most of the time, you’ll find me in a bed or blanket on my favorite chair. It’s funny how we all have our favorite spots – Hocus in his basket by the door waiting 24/7 for wet food to arrive, Mona in her cubby, Buddy on or near the ramp to the solarium, and Adelaide anywhere there are people. I guess we’re all just creatures of habit.
To help ring in the holidays, I made my debut in the Tabby’s Place Gift Catalog. They tell me my good looks have added to the festiveness.
I hope all your dreams and wishes come true this holiday season. I feel so lucky and proud to have the gift of your continued love and support.
Lots of love,
Lester
