Dear friends,
This has been one of the most relaxing, lazy summers I can remember. Do you think Prozac may have something to do with it?
Prozac is a beautiful thing. It keeps our world in balance. We’ve always had an interesting group of lovers and fighters in Suite FIV. I think we all know which side I tended to fall on. However, I’m switching teams and finally joining the lovers’ camp. The deep scratches on my nose have healed. I no longer launch un-instigated, surprise attacks on my roommates. And, my days of battle with Pyewacket are behind me. We still keep a wide berth from each other, but the fur-flying days are over, to everyone’s relief.
Even Ms. Adelaide has stopped swatting us silly. She continues to attract a lot of human visitors with her charming ways. Of course, that benefits us all, so no complaints from me.
There are some battles worth fighting, though. All of Suite FIV let out a sigh of relief at the news that my medication has defeated my diarrhea. That means we all get to stay on a regular diet this time around. I’m off my medication now and feeling great. And we are all enjoying our regular snacks.
I hope your summer was peaceful and relaxing. Thanks so much for all your love and support!
Big hugs,
Lester
