Update for Lester

Hi, friends.

It looks like the crime mystery has been solved. I’ve been caught red-handed going after poor Pyewacket. I need to work at improving my own sleuthing skills, so that I can know when I’m about to get busted. But for now, whenever I get caught, I practice my look of shocked innocence and say, “Who, me? I’m a lover, not a fighter, baby.” Of course, the scratches on my nose prove otherwise. Let me tell you something, Pyewacket gives as good as he gets. Our scuffles have been frequent, but like all the other scuffles I cause unwillingly get pulled into, the bad feelings eventually fade and we learn to get along once again. I guess it’s par for the course in a suite full of tomboys.

Aside from the scuffles, we’ve had some changes around here. Sweet, three-legged Knox has been upgraded to Jonathan’s office and is smitten with a volunteer named Cheryl. I’m still trying to figure out how he negotiated that sweet deal, but nobody’s talking. Our other newbie, Mitt, got adopted by a nice family that has another FIV cat from Tabby’s Place. I’m really happy that Mitt was chosen because, with the nice weather, it’s prime solarium season, and shy Mitt lived almost exclusively in the solarium tube. The flow of traffic should be smooth and easy now.

My health is great, and life is good here in the FIV+ suite. It’s because of your love and support that I get the daily love and care I need to help me thrive. For that, I am forever grateful.

Your pal,
Lester
