Hello, loves!
Happy August to you. I hope you are enjoying your summer. For the most part, things are good here in Suite FIV, and I am enjoying the cooler evenings…good snuggling weather!
So, those in charge here at Tabby’s Place have determined that the medications they’ve given me for my digestive problems are not working. They need to get to the bottom of this problem (no pun intended), and the veterinarian believes I have inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). This doesn’t make sense to me, because I am the least inflammatory cat you’d ever want to meet.
Nonetheless, they have put me on a restricted diet (horrors), and there is no dry food in the suite at all during the day (for which my suite-mates are blaming me). The real problem is this: I am crated at night with my hypoallergenic food, and everyone else gets to roam freely and eat the good stuff. And –- they claim that I am still a happy boy regardless! Now I ask you; since I have been here longer than most of my suitemates, doesn’t it make sense to crate the other cats and let me have free reign during the night? Yes, I knew you’d see it my way.
Therefore, I need your help. Please write a strong letter of protest to the people at Tabby’s Place on my behalf (if you want, you can send them to Governor Christie, your Congresspeople, the United Nations, etc., as well). Let’s get this situation resolved as soon as possible!
In the meantime, remember how much I love you and appreciate your loving me!
Your Favorite Cat,
Lester
