Update for Lester

Dear fantastic friends,

Our good friend Wolfie was adopted! His new family sent Tabby’s Place an update on how he’s doing. My correspondent read the letter to me, and I am overjoyed for my oversized buddy.

It seems Wolfie spends his days purring and cuddling with his new people. He has his own water fountain, which he’s obsessed with, and has claimed his person’s yoga mat as his own. (Between you and me, he can use some exercise.) The best part is that he sleeps in bed with his people and is surrounded by his very own stuffed animals. Wolfie has always had this strange thing about licking people. He continues this odd habit by licking his new people and his abundance of stuffed animals. Happy life, Wolfie!

We have a new roommate, Tennison. He is adorable, sweet and super friendly. And Oscar has come out of his shell and is a real lovebug (that’s Oscar photobombing me here). These guys have helped to restore the peaceful vibes in this place. To keep the peace, it’s necessary to continue to crate Knickers and Rufus on alternate days. We’re hoping they’ll get infused with the new zen vibes in the FIV+ suite and stop their brawling ways (paws crossed!).

My health is great, but we’re still trying to find a diet that I will accept.  My new hypoallergenic diet controls my diarrhea beautifully (TMI?). But I hate this food so much, I go on hunger strikes and then lose weight. The kind staff is back to evaluating other options. Sigh. I hope we can find a really tasty food that is agreeable to both me and my sensitive tummy.

Thank you for all your love and support. You are the best friend that a guy like me can have, and I feel grateful for you every day.

Your devoted friend,
Lester
