Dear Friends,

For the first time in a while, my weight has stabilized. As you may remember, I’m on a strict diet, and I don’t always appreciate my food, which keeps me nice and slim. Overall, my health is good and I’m a very happy guy.

I’m especially happy that things have been mellow in the FIV+ Suite. If you’ve been my friend for a long time, those words may surprise you, but I’ve mellowed so much as I’ve aged. I used to be the source of many fur-flying fights, but now I just want to chill and be loved on by my people.

Fontina, Humphrey, Audrey, and our most recent addition, Everest, have all settled into their own routines and don’t really bother the rest of us. For my part, I enjoy sleeping my days away in the comfy beds inside or lounging in the solarium with a nice breeze on my face while I watch a parade of kitties go by in their strollers while their people tell them stories. And, always, I long to be fussed over by the staff and volunteers, from which there is no shortage of love and affection.

I hope that you, too, are enjoying leisurely days filled with warmth and sunshine. I’m grateful for all your love and support.
