Dear friends,
Cats have been getting adopted out of the FIV+ Suite like hotcakes. We are down to five cats. Let me repeat that: We are down to FIVE blessed cats! It’s been a long time since this suite has seen that much peace and quiet.
I am celebrating with lots of sleepy time in the sun. How is that different from how I normally spend my days, you might ask? It’s not, except that now there are so many more spots from which to choose!
Even with just five cats, we still have three different diets among us. That’s why I still need to be crated overnight, so that I can have access to my limited-ingredient diet. I really don’t mind. The kind people at Tabby’s Place finally found a diet that (a) I like and (b) keeps my GI tract happy and healthy. I happily enter my crate every night, but I’m also very excited to come out in the morning and get a good stretch (and try to find an overlooked morsel of non-prescription food). Overall, I’ve been eating well and feeling great.
I can’t wait until we can have visitors again. It’s a shame that, with so little competition for cuddles these days, more people can’t come fuss over me. We are lucky to have such great staff here to play with us, love us up, and take care of us.
I’m so grateful you’re my friend and loyal supporter. I’m sending peace to your heart and deep furry virtual hugs.
All my love,
Lester
